At a meeting of concerned PFC owners at People’s Church on March 6, 2026, some potential next courses of action were discussed. Those conversations have continued in small groups, and are taking shape:

• Legal Route - One of those next actions is to proceed with owner petitions for special election and board recall. Wet signatures are best on these petitions. Petitions can be signed by PFC owners in person Saturdays, March 21, 28, and April 4, at the Winter Market on Bank Street. For this pathway, a lawyer has been engaged, and a GoFundMe has been created to support paying the attorney. Consider donating. 
  
  
• Attend PFC Board Meetings - The PFC Board of Directors meets every fourth Tuesday, 5:30-7:30pm. Attend, listen, and ask questions. Regular meetings are virtual, details are on the PFC Board page. This coming Tuesday, March 24, there will be both a virtual option per usual, and an in-person watch event at St Martin of Tours (2010 Nichols Road, Kzoo), Tuesday, March 24, 5-8pm. • Support the Staff - Ten staff have either been terminated or resigned in the past six weeks. Consider contributing to this mutual aid fund to support the staff.
• Keep the Co-op Strong - regardless of what other ways you might get involved, it’s important to keep shopping. Sales at PFC have been declining, which is really hard for a store like ours to recover from. Let’s keep shopping!
  
  
• Stay Kind - keep the emails and in person feedback coming on store experience and concerns about this direction. Send that directly to the board at pfc.kalamazoo.bod@gmail.com and board@pfckalamazoo.coop, and to the IGM at gm@pfckalamazoo.coop, and remember to center our and their humanity as we express our concerns.
