I read a story about a dog named Scruffles who was brought into a PetSmart in New Jersey for grooming. His owner then received a call from a veterinary hospital saying that they had her dog and that she should come down. She arrived to find her dog dead. With no explanation for what had happened from petsmart the owner has no piece of mind. This is the third incident dealing with dogs nearly or dying after being groomed by the same petsmart store.
