Hi everyone,

I recently reached out directly to the OCP CEO and the Pharmacy Technicians on the Board of Directors regarding our petition. To no one's surprise, I have not received a response.

Please, do not be disheartened by this silence. In fact, let it fuel us. This is exactly what we expected, isn't it? It often feels like the only time the College acknowledges us is when an invoice is due.

But life has taught me that nothing worth having comes easily. Real change is a fight, and signing this petition was just our opening move. If we want our fees reduced, we cannot wait for permission—we have to demand it. We have to show them that we are not just names on a list; we are a dedicated workforce that refuses to be ignored.

I am calling on every single person who signed this petition to take action today.

We need to flood their inboxes. We need to make our collective voice impossible to tune out.

Below is a template you can send immediately. If you don't hear back within 48 hours, send it again. And again. Let’s make sure they hear us loud and clear before the March 10th deadline.

Together, we are strong. Let's get to work.

Attn: Jay O'Neill, Registrar and CEO

Subject: URGENT: Petition Regarding Pharmacy Technician Fees & March 10 Deadline

Dear Mr. O'Neill,

I am writing to you as a concerned Pharmacy Technician and a signatory of the petition regarding the current registration fees.

The rising costs associated with our registration are becoming unsustainable for many in our profession. We are requesting an immediate review of the fee structure. Furthermore, we respectfully request that the collection of fees scheduled for March 10th be postponed until these serious financial concerns can be properly addressed by the College.

You can view the full petition and our collective concerns here:

We are eager to open a dialogue and await your prompt response.

Sincerely,
