Hello everyone

Can we take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas, a safe, happy and prosperous New Year?

The last couple of years has been a grind, particularly the festive seasons where we had trouble connecting with our loved ones. This year the loneliness of Christmas has gone for those fortunate enough to have connections. Our thoughts are with any of you who do not.

However, we can dream of re-energising past relationships into 2022, which should be one of our priorities, the key to returning to the normality we yearn.

Like many other things, we sometimes do not appreciate the importance until it is taken away.

The CAA has had a very successful year advocating for Victorians. The highlight is the reintroduction of a Police schools program in 2022, something we have been working towards for seven years.

As we enjoy a bit of a winddown and reflect on what might lay ahead, the challenges and issues for 2022 look daunting but no doubt we will address them as we have with any issue previously confronted, head-on.

To the now many thousands of CAA supporters, irrespective of the medium we use, we thank you. To our detractors, we respect your right to do so, To our direct members and the Directors of the CAA, we thank you most sincerely because there would not be a CAA without you.

Our kindest and best wishes go to each of you.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
