Revelations at the Victorian Senate Parliamentary inquiry on the 25th of August examining the ICooks Foods Slug-gate matter have exposed what can only be described as a series of Bombshells, far too many to count, as alleged lies by bureaucrats were exposed one after another.

What was made very clear is that our elected representatives in all three tiers of Government failed miserably to manage adequately the functionaries under their area of responsibility.

The parity with 'Yes Minister', Esque was not lost on many.

The most galling of all is that this artifice was allowed to fester for ten years and that is before it manifested into the merciless attack on ICooks and Slug-gate.

This brings into stark relief the unaccountability of Politicians and exposes the whole of our bureaucracy making their unaccountability look like a waddle in the park for them.

A mechanism of accountability that Recall provides has got to be the first step in binging about essential change to the administration and operations of our government, moving the pendulum from, self-serving to serving the people. This serving phenomena has become evident in the Covid issue.
