Petition update"Recall Elections"RECALL IS GAINING GROUND
Community Advocacy Alliance CAAKILSYTH, Australia
Jul 31, 2021

Again, thank you to all our supporters.

Since our last update, we have grown at a rate of nearly 1000 per day, closing in on 11,000 petitioners supporting the Recall proposal.

Of enormous frustration is that as we climb to a number of petitioners that will influence the Government, issues that appear daily would, if we had it, trigger a Recall.

The most recent, the situation in NSW and their fight against the COVID Delta strain.

The NSW fight is not as dire as we experienced, with Victoria recording around 700 cases a day and over eight hundred deaths, but not that you would know it from sections of the media. The outbreak is promoted like an Armageddon.

The death toll in NSW is thankfully very low; however, the most galling and un-Australian behaviour of the other States not coming to the aid of NSW with additional Pfizer vaccines is just downright shameful.

Unfortunately, all clear-thinking Victorians must carry the shame of our Government treating fellow Australians in this manner.

NSW, we are sorry for what our leaders have done; it is un-Australian.

As often happens in disasters, the Australian way of helping out one another has now been trashed by self-centered, egotistical leaders and officials trying to make political mileage at the expense of our culture.

The rule of mateship seems to be headed the way of the dodo bird thanks to these pious ratbags.

The not too subtle attempts to drive wedges between sectors of the Australian society to create tribe’s self-centered on their own existence and survival is a dangerous new phenomenon promoted by the current crop of political opportunists.

Having many tribes, each totally self-centered, will make it easier to control because each tribe will not be strong enough to stand up to political tyranny.

Understandably, the traditional light-hearted parochialism between States will harden from NSW, and we may find some resistance toward Victorians, and they would be justified.

Sort of sounds like Socialism on the march?

As our petition rockets forward, can we ask you each again to share and encourage others to sign. With each of you corralling just one or two additional signatures, we might just get somewhere.
