The recall petition is even more important now than when we started as the Parliament is realistically out of control and by that we mean the total Parliament not justs the Government, albeit they are the catalyst.

We see deals and counter deals done by this government and some of the minor parties engaging in horse-trading that is despicable - one moment a politician is lauding how they will block a particular piece of legislation and the next they roll over with some deal. This brings into question their legitimacy and ethics. 

If the legislation didn't stack up on its own merits some unrelated side deal is a direct undermining of our democratic system.
