Hi all just wanted to update you with some information, I met with Lillian greenwood the minster of transport a few days ago, the meeting went really well, she was really understanding and sincere about what i am campaigning for and really touched by keelys story.

I believe things happen for a reason as we have met up at the right time as Lillian have already started looking into making changes to road traffic offences, she has a meeting with the minster of justice secretary Jake Richards next week she is going to bring up what we discussed and hopefully work along side him to eventually make some change.

I explained so many families who have these petitions just want to be herd and listened to by the right people  we want change otherwise things will keep getting worse than they already are

We spoke of what I am campaigning for:

which is tougher sentencing     

Licences revoked at the time of collsion

I also brought up that we should be looking at the categories as there are only two catorgies: Death by dangerous driving and Death by careless driving.

people who cause fatalities or injuries whilst under the influence of drink/drugs are immediately categorised into death by dangerous driving, someone who isn't under any kind of influence of anything is categoriesd as death by careless driving and they have full capacity it doesn't make sense, there is a big gap that needs changing to make these categories fit!!!
