Once again everyone, thank you for your support. We all know that something is seriously wrong with this situation. Our elected representatives should be able to make decisions upon our behalf, free from duress. Unfortunately, they were all subjected to it, & some caved. I understand why they did so. Many have built up considerable personal wealth, and feared losing it. Large central government contracts, could allegedly be jeopardised, if Tauranga City Councillors refused to follow a debatably legal direction from somebody in Wellington. The Mayor of Tauranga has still not decided whether to accept this petition, but whether he does or doesn’t, I still get to bend his ear for 20 minutes tomorrow. I’m looking forward to doing so, on behalf of you all.
