Thanks again for supporting this cause.  Together we will educate the EPA that our community is no longer industrial.  The late Mayor Raymond McDonough and his friend the late Councilman Peter Higgins over twenty years ago set in motion a Redevelopment plan that envisioned taking contaminated industrial properties and creating a vibrant residential community with Greenspaces for all residents.  We cannot allow the EPA to compound the errors made that brought Agent Orange byproducts to the bottom of the Passaic River.  We cannot allow the EPA to trade human health for cost-saving.  The Sludge must be taken to a location that is industrial and not in a residential community for dewatering.

Environmental Justice must mean something.  Environmental Justice cannot be just a slogan.

Please continue to spread the word and share this Petition.  It has already made a difference in uniting the community.

I also wanted you to know I am circulating a paper petition in the Town of Harrison.  Yesterday I walked door to door and collected over 30 signatures.  I will be out there again today door to door in the Town of Harrison.
