David Gauke MP should be held to account for his decision to act in contravention of the Referendum result and in contravention of the Conservative Party manifesto , by abstaining on an amended government motion ruling out a no-deal Brexit in all circumstances, despite a three-line whip to oppose it.

In signing this petition, we urge the local conservative association to hold David Gauke MP, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, to account with a no confidence vote for his position on Brexit .

Under the Rules of the Conservative Party Constituency Associations (South West Hertfordshire Association) a Special general meeting of the Association may be summoned at any time by the Chairman of the Association or upon a petition signed by not less than fifty members  of the Association or 10% of the total membership of the Association.
