Last June 2021, Bishop Long released the 3rd revision of the Parramatta School Curriculum which was full of pantheistic and atheistic, and mostly anti or wrong-Catholic teachings.  Bishop Long also lead the only opposition amongst the Christian denomination, to Mark Latham's Parental Right Primacy Bill.

Parents and faithful stood outside St Patrick's Cathedral Parramatta on June 2021 to pray the Rosary of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and St Patrick's Breast Plate: " I arise today", in protest to what Bishop Long is teaching the children in the Catholic schools.

This morning, 20 July 2021, Bishop Vincent Long of Parramatta issued a statement of withdrawing the New Curriculum from being implemented (we quote) "after significant consideration of feedback including from the Church, community and experts in Religious Education and theology,.."

Indeed, Padre Pio and the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen were correct, it is the faithful who will save the Catholic Church.
