Petition updatePetition to seek Transparency and Accountability from Parramatta DioceseCEDP's False Report to the Police Backfires

Update:

12 May, the police called the concerned parents, who organised the rosary protest on 25 April a Sunday, outside the chapel (not Cathedral) of St Patrick's Cathedral Parish and today's Fatima Day public rosary protest outside the Bishop's office,  as the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta or CEDP falsely reported that the rosary protest on 25 April disrupted the mass which was broadcast online by the Catedral.

The false report backfired as the prayer protest was videod in full showing people praying intently and that the rosary protest stopped as soon as the mass started and continued after mass. It showed the  protesters even attended the mass. So how can the protest disrupt the mass when there was no protest when the mass was ongoing?

Bishop Long who is the boss of CEDP should remind members of his staffs and department ie CEDP, unless they again acted under his instructions:

1. Catholics especially parishioners under Canon law have the right to pray within the church compound and even protest peacefully.

2. False reporting especially to the police is wrong.

We also got an email where CEDP said they are given authority to respond to letters to the Diocese when I wrote a letter to the bishop and Curia stating the faithful's Canon law rights and has nothing to do with the Parental Rights Bill.

I quote: "Your email sent to the Diocesan Office was forwarded to us. All communication regarding this matter is being handled from the Catholic Education Office."

Note: My subject line was changed to Mark Latham's Bill.  Why?

Is CEDP running the diocese now?
