Thank you for raising your hand to stand with the Save Morrison YMCA Coalition.
Over the past several weeks, our community has shown just how deeply Morrison matters. Now, we are moving from concern to organized action — and we need your help.
Again and again, we’ve heard the same question:
“How can I help?”
Now we’re ready to answer it.
We are forming volunteer workgroups to bring together the skills, relationships, ideas and energy of people throughout our community.
Beginning this week, the Save Morrison YMCA Coalition is bringing volunteers together for a series of workshops focused on the work ahead. And there is a place for you.
You do not need to be an expert. Maybe you have professional experience or community connections you can share. Maybe you are a parent, member, former member, retiree, neighbor or longtime friend of Morrison. Or maybe you’re simply ready to say:
“Put me wherever you need me.”
We need all of you.

Our volunteer workgroups will tackle different pieces of the effort — from communications and community outreach to fundraising, Board engagement and developing a credible vision for Morrison’s future.

WHY YOUR HELP MATTERS
Saving Morrison will take more than a small group of people around a table.
It will take a community — people willing to ask questions, share ideas, make connections, tell stories, organize, communicate and show up.
Some people will give many hours. Others may give one. Both matter!
What matters now is giving everyone who cares about Morrison a meaningful way to become part of the work.

We believe Morrison’s future deserves the time, transparency and community engagement necessary to fully explore what is possible.
And we are committed to doing the work required to help build a path forward.
