I just want to say thank you. Because of you, this petition has now passed 50,000 signatures. That’s 50,000 people standing up to say that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert deserves to stay on the air.

Last night, something powerful happened: the words “Truth Deserves a Timeslot” were projected onto the Ed Sullivan Theater, right where The Late Show is filmed. That message included the link to this petition! 

This show, and what it stands for, means a lot to me. I view the cancellation as part of a disturbing trend, where voices critical of authoritarianism are silenced, even when disguised as financial decisions.
