Hello. Now that the church has been demolished we need to fight the proposed massive 5-story apartment complex planned for the lot.

Representatives from L.A. County supervisor Kathryn Barger's office will be coming to look at the site and meet with us. This will be 4pm on Monday November 14th at 4064 E. Live Oak.

If there isn't room on the sidewalk feel free to gather in the driveway and lawn across the street at 3018 Center St. As it is a street-sweeping day there will be no parking on the east side before 4pm. Please come and explain to them the insanity of this huge project on a tiny street and neighborhood. Although everyone claims to have no way of stopping this, we may have an influence through neighborhood traffic re-evaluation. 

Also please keep up the phone/email/letter campaign to our representatives. The developer especially is not happy to be the center of so much negative attention, so we need to continue letting them know how we feel. Thank you, and we hope to see you at 4pm on Monday, Nov. 14. Please share this information with anyone concerned.
