🚨 Hinjawadi Traffic Congestion and Infrastructure Status review meeting with Divisional Commissioner.

✨ Today's meeting with Pune Divisional Commissioner- Chandrankant Pulkundwar sir was very good which gave lot of positive hopes. On behalf of Wakad Pimpri Chinchwad Residents Development and Welfare Association some of us have been Officially invited for the meeting since i am E-Petitioner of #UNCLOGHINJAWADIITPark movement. 

Being a Petitioner i got the invitation from them on this issue. Various issues were discussed and Government agencies like PMRDA, MIdc, NHAI, PCMC, PMC, PWD teams had given the status of the same. 

We put forth below listed demands and discussed on the same with Various Organizations listed above.

Points discussed:

⭐️ Hinjawadi Traffic management,
⭐️ Traffic department requirements like Cement road Dividers, portable signals and Manpower headcount of TRAFFIC Wardens to be arranged asap- PMRDA Commissioner as agreed to make these arrangements.
⭐️ NHAI Authorities has given a status of the road work and their future plan.
⭐️ Multi model Transport Hub at NHAI and suggestions for the same
⭐️ Midc has given the status of the work they have done,
⭐️ Development of 6 new roads in Hinjawadi,
⭐️ Hinjawadi Metro to start operations by end of December or March'26
⭐️ Hinjawadi existing Road widening work in progress
⭐️ Mhalunge road to Hinjawadi Development
⭐️ Dedicated Traffic management team for Hinjawadi IT Park
⭐️ Hinjawadi Croma Signal metro station stairs landing cancellation
⭐️ Surya Hospital to Kaspate Wasti Road is being followed up by Hon. MLA Shankar Jagtap

⭐️ Surveillance Vans to be deployed by MIDC & PMRDA to monitor and prevent encroachments

⭐️ Croma Metro Staircase plan has been cancelled. PMRDA has acquired additional land to realign stairs with the metro station.

⭐️ The entrance road to IT Park from NH-48 (first 100-200 meters) is in poor condition – MIDC assigned to repair it.

⭐️ AI-Based Traffic Management was suggested by the Collector for Phase 2 & 3.

⭐️ In order dor Government lands not to be encroached a board to be erected from long term solution perspective

⭐️ Div Commissioner to survey NHAI service roads on weekend

And so on... There were many Discussions happened and above is the crux of it.

✍️ On behalf of Hinjawadi ITians, Unclog Team has asked for an assured time bound action to resolve traffic issues.

🟢UnclogTeam has also well informed various housing society Groups and Housing Federation teams to attend this meeting basis the instructions received from the organizer. Accordingly some of them attended this meeting for presenting the infrastructure issues in Hinjawadi.

Our Team has prepared & submitted hardcopy of 57 pager document to Div. Commissioner and PMRDA Commissioner suggesting various solutions on the Traffic Congestion spots.
