Catch the Ferry! Newburgh-Beacon Weekend Pilot runs Oct 3, 4, 10, 11 ⚓⛴️
Ahoy everyone! The Pilot Weekend Ferry program launches in conjunction with major local events in Newburgh and Beacon. The ferry service will operate October 3-4 and October 10-11, 2026 with 14 crossings between 10am-6pm. Fare $1. See schedule at www.newburghbeaconferry.org
Through this action, we will demonstrate demand and impact of ferry service to our community, Governor Hochul and the MTA, and we will use what we learn from the pilot in our continued efforts towards permanent service restoration and expansion.

Help us make the pilot a success and continue the fight for the ferry. Here are a few ways you can help:
- Spread the word! Print poster, share via email, post online.
- Join the info session for ways to volunteer. Weds, Sept. 30, at 8pm. Please RSVP to savetheferry.hv@gmail.com | Join at https://meet.google.com/mqm-hatf-gph
- Volunteer for a shift at the Beacon or Newburgh dock to speak with visitors and passengers. Email savetheferry.hv@gmail.com with your dock preference and availability for Oct 3, 4, 10, or 11. Your work and advocacy would make a difference. It should also be a lot of fun!
