Chipping in money

There seems to be some confusion regarding the link when you sign asking you to ‘sponsor’ the post with a donation

I am not receiving/will not be receiving this money!
Tim/Tims Rivershore does not receive this money!

No money is involved with this petition- it is not a fundraiser- we are simply collecting signatures in the hopes of presenting the powers that be (land and management companies) support of Tim having his lease extended!

this is a change.org feature where they are asking you to donate basically to ‘advertise’ the petition to more people.   Change.org gets your $ IF YOU CHOOSE TO DONATE! It benefits the petition but not the people invoved

its similar to promoting a Facebook post
