This petition is just the beginning.

Emails have now been sent directly to our local MP, as well as the Town Mayor and Deputy Mayor, asking for their immediate support and action on this issue.

We are not asking for special treatment — we are asking for fairness. Other Cornish towns are already seeing the benefits of reduced parking charges and increased footfall. Liskeard deserves the same opportunity to thrive.

High parking costs are pushing people away from our town centre and placing additional strain on the very businesses that keep Liskeard alive. This isn’t about politics — it’s about protecting our local economy, jobs, and community.
