Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, called officials, and helped spread the word. Every signature strengthens our voice — but we need MORE signatures.

We recently received a response from Indian River County Administrator John Titkanich regarding our petition and our efforts to secure funding for homeowners facing the cost of mandatory septic upgrades.

The County has indicated that this issue will be presented as a top legislative priority, and we have been asked to provide our final petition results along with supporting documentation.

🏠 NOW WE NEED REAL SEPTIC ESTIMATES

If you have already received a written estimate or quote for upgrading or replacing your septic system to meet the nitrogen-reduction requirements, PLEASE SEND IT TO US.

We want to include real homeowner estimates in our documentation so county and state officials can see what these required upgrades could actually cost families.

If you do not have an estimate yet, we need volunteers willing to contact local septic companies and obtain written estimates.

We especially need:

• Written septic upgrade/replacement estimates

• Estimates for nitrogen-reducing systems where applicable

• Estimated annual maintenance/service costs

• Estimates from different contractors and neighborhoods

• Volunteers willing to obtain new estimates

Please remove or cover any personal information you do not want shared before sending your estimate.

The more signatures and real cost estimates we can provide, the stronger our documentation will be when it is presented to Indian River County and our state legislative delegation as we request funding and financial assistance for affected homeowners.
