HOMEOWNERS — PLEASE CALL OUR STATE LEGISLATORS
We now have over 500 people who have signed our petition!
Now we need homeowners to make their voices heard in Tallahassee.
Please call State Senator Erin Grall and State Representative Robert “Robbie” Brackett and ask them to work toward adequate state funding to help homeowners affected by the septic and wastewater requirements associated with HB 1379.
Senator Erin Grall
📞 (850) 487-5029
Representative Robert “Robbie” Brackett
📞 (772) 778-5005
When you call, you can simply say:
“I am an Indian River County homeowner calling about HB 1379 and the septic requirements affecting our community. I support protecting the Indian River Lagoon, but homeowners need financial assistance to comply. Please support adequate state funding for grants and other assistance for ALL affected homeowners—not only those who meet low-income qualifications. We need funding available well before the 2030 deadline.”
Some homeowners could face $25,000 or more in septic-related costs. Even homeowners who don't qualify as low-income may have difficulty absorbing an expense of that size.
Over 500 people have already signed our petition. Now we need homeowners to CALL.
Please be respectful, tell them how this could affect your household, and ask what they will do to address homeowner funding.
Protect the Lagoon. Help homeowners afford compliance. Fund the assistance.
Please CALL AND SHARE so other Indian River County homeowners know who to contact.
