Official response from the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district office

After reaching 2,000+ signatures on our petition, we have finally received an official response from the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district office regarding the future of the Billie Eilish Wall.

They confirmed that there are currently no plans to remove the wall or the meeting point. 

At the same time, they acknowledged the ongoing issues with graffiti and vandalism and referred me directly to the property representatives at PIMCO and NAS Real Centermanagement so that I can continue discussing the matter with them.

This is an important step, but the conversation doesn’t end here. I will be reaching out to the relevant contacts to see what can be done to preserve and protect this special place for the Billie Eilish community.
