We write to you today with a renewed sense of urgency and an extraordinary opportunity to make a real difference in shaping the future of our neighborhood. Together, we have the power to create positive change and safeguard our community from the proposed conversion of the property at 1174-1178 Folsom Street into permanent supportive housing for young adults exiting homelessness.

We are delighted to announce that we will be doing a Public Safety walk on Monday 6/5 at 5 pm.  We have confirmed Supervisor Dorsey and Captain Martin will be there. We also invited a representative from the Mayor’s Office and a representative from the Office of Economic and Workforce Development.

Remember, our community is not alone in facing these challenges. By uniting and demonstrating the strength of our collective voice, we can make a compelling argument that resonates with decision-makers and influences their course of action.

We urge you to join us  promptly at 5 PM on Monday, June 5th, in front of 1174 Folsom Street.

Let us harness the successes of past community engagements, where passionate residents like ourselves have shaped decisions and protected the interests of our neighborhoods. By presenting a compelling case during this neighborhood walk, we have an incredible opportunity to create positive change and ensure the well-being and future of our community.

We express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and your commitment to our neighborhood. Together, we can make a lasting impact and preserve the essence of our community.

See you at the neighborhood walk on Monday, June 5th, at 5 PM in front of 1174 Folsom Street!
