Petition Update

I have been in touch with the President of the Catholic Women's League of the Diocese of Cubao and asked for their support in our petition - Mrs Quezon used to be the National President of this group in 1920. The President has kindly referred us to Bishop Ongtioco; she will update me for any developments. Let's all pray that the bishop would support the proposal. Let us say this prayer: "Jesus proclaimed the Good News of the kingdom and cured all kinds of sickness among the people." (cf. Matthew 4:23) Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of Your word and the gentleness of Your touch, You have ushered God's kingdom on earth and restored broken humanity to its true dignity. Through the example of Your servant Aurora Quezon, may our life too become a living proof that Your kingdom has come. May our actions, simple as they may be, bring healing to all those who are hurt. With childlike confidence, we entrust to You (mention your intention). Hear us, Lord, through Doña Aurora's intercession. Amen.
