Dear supporters,

We’re thrilled to share some encouraging news: thanks to the collective advocacy of students, faculty, staff, and allies like you, the Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) at Pepperdine University, in collaboration with the Office of International Student Services (OISS), has found a solution that allows international students to continue their practicum training through the end of August, without requiring us to pay additional tuition.

This outcome represents a significant win for equity and inclusion. It ensures that international students can maintain their training positions, their immigration status, and their relationships with clients, without facing unnecessary financial or academic penalties.

We are deeply grateful to:

- Dean Farzin Madjidi for his leadership,
- Dr. Karen Magner, International Student Liaison at GSEP, for her continued advocacy,
- The Clinical Training team, and the many faculty and staff at GSEP who listened to our concerns and worked diligently on our behalf, and
- The Office of International Student Services, for helping shape a solution that upholds legal protections for our immigration status.

This change would not have been possible without the support and solidarity of every person who signed this petition and stood with us. Your voice mattered.

Thank you for helping us protect our training, our clients, and our futures.

With sincere gratitude,
The International student community at GSEP
