Thanks to the tireless efforts of Eritrean justice seekers, advocates, and supporters worldwide, the U.S. government has officially extended Executive Order 14046, keeping in place critical sanctions against the PFDJ regime and its enablers.
This victory belongs to every petition signer, every phone call made, every email sent, and every protest organized. Together, we proved that when the Eritrean diaspora and allies unite, we can ensure accountability and keep human rights at the forefront of U.S. policy.
What this means:
✅ Continued sanctions enforcement on the Eritrean regime and its affiliates.
✅ Recognition that transnational repression, extortion, and forced fundraising targeting Eritrean communities abroad cannot be tolerated.
✅ A powerful step forward in supporting pro-democracy voices and human rights defenders.
This is not the end — it’s the beginning. We must now push for stronger enforcement, wider monitoring of PFDJ-linked organizations abroad, and increased support for Eritrean pro-democracy civic societies and independent media.
On behalf of Eritrean Justice Seekers everywhere:
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing in freedom, democracy, and accountability.
🙏 A special thank you to Bayto Yiakl, USA, Team Freedom, and supportive Eritrean Justice Seekers for leading the way and setting an example of courageous leaders.
✊ The struggle continues, but today we celebrate a major win!
