Many thanks to all who've signed or shared this petition, and for good wishes re my novel "Time to Stop Running", which, though fantasy fiction, is helping to highlight the plight of the hare. I find that during this lockdown the book is reaching a vastly wider readership.
 
It's good to avail of the extra time to read and research, but also to focus on campaigning. Here in Ireland, campaigners are working on a new Bill to ban hare coursing. It'll be debated later in the year, but right now people are lobbying the politicians, and hopefully getting their attention because most of them are not in their offices but can read correspondence on i phones etc.
 
Every time this petition is signed, as you know, a email is generated to the political leaders here in Ireland, so the campaign to end bloodsports continues despite the Coronavirus emergency.
