Sincere thanks who all who have signed the new petition (link below) titled: Pope Francis: Ask Ireland's government to ban blood sports!

The petition is important because when the pope visits he will be greeted by those very politicians here in Ireland who are directly responsible for the horrors of hare coursing, fox hunting, and fur farming.

It would be a huge boost to the cause of animal protection in Ireland if Pope Francis were to even refer briefly to these issues during his visit.
