Asking people to share this on facebook, twitter and anywhere else possible: hare coursing itself is bad enough, but earlier this week, two of the greyhounds entered in the three day so-called "National Coursing Festival" in Ireland were trained by a man convicted of illegally blooding greyhounds with live animals. He was FILMED doing this and the footage was used in a BBC documentary screened back in 1994. The Irish Coursing Club knew this and still allowed his involvement in the big hare coursing fixture that is held on a racecourse in County Tipperary. The "still" is from the footage, showing the trainer concerned carrying several cages of live rabbits.
