The Crover House Hotel in Cavan, Ireland, is sponsoring the cruel practice of live hare coursing, in which hares are chased within a wired-off field or enclosure where they can be mauled or have their bones crushed by pairs of competing greyhounds. The booklet for this month's Cavan coursing fixture shows that the hotel "kindly sponsored" the "Derby Trial Stake." The hotel also later hosted presentations to owners of winning dogs. A notice in the booklet stated: "For presentations after coursing join us in Crover House Hotel". Please ask the hotel to STOP financing and propping up this horrific practice. You can do so by contacting Crover House Hotel and making your views known. Details: Address: Crover House Hotel Lough Sheelin, Co. Cavan. Tel: +353 (0)49 854 0206 Or: Email: reservations@croverhousehotel.ie Or: Leave a comment on Facebook (You can give the hotel a star rating-between one and five- and then leave a comment) https://www.facebook.com/croverhousehotel/
