In Bad Hare Days I recount my own experience of how bloodsports people resort to bullying and violence against opponents of cruel sports. Unfortunately such behaviour continues: Here is a prominent member of a County Kilkenny (Ireland) Foxhunt assaulting two landowners who had banned hunting on their property. The assailant has been convicted in court this month (January 2016) of assaulting Norman and Hubert Daniels of Tullaroan, County Kilkenny. I imagine it came as shock to him that the assault had been captured on camera. Incredibly the foxhunters have rallied to his defense, seemingly unconcerned at his actions.
