December 2nd Petition Update:

To our valued community, we want to thank you again for supporting the committee’s efforts of preserving and progressing access to justice with the petition to ”Amend the Requirement For In Court Attendances.”

We met with Attorney General, Doug Downey in October, whose office was very receptive to our ideas and proposals that we put forward. We continue our efforts by meeting and partnering with other key participants in the family law system and are planning additional meetings in the upcoming weeks. We will ensure to keep all of you updated on our progress.

We appreciate your continued support. Please help us in continuing to spread our message by sharing the petition with your networks and to help us reach our goal of 1500 signatures. Your help will allow us to continue our mission to return all court attendances to be presumptively virtual unless the parties and their counsel agree otherwise or if the court for good reason orders that a particular attendance shall be in person or hybrid.

Help the committee reach 1,500 signatures and spread the word by sharing this link with your colleagues.
