Thank you all for the incredible outpouring of support for this initiative. We have 100 signatures and I'm happy to have this platform to collectively raise our concern. I know how much the WG daycare facility and pool mean to this community and we all want to see it successfully reopen. 

Since posting this petition just 48hrs ago we've already seen progress:

-Rockville Mayor, Monique Ashton, and members of the City Council reached out to show support and inform us they are meeting with City Managers to develop a plan of action.

-The property owner mowed their overgrown grass and performed basic land upkeep.

-The Woodley Gardens Civic Association reached out to offer updates and transparent communication.

Please continue to share our petition, raise your voice, and show support of the community-including the Woodley Waves. The facility opened in 1961 and I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we want to see it restored and serving the needs of our neighborhood families again.
