We wanted to share an important update following the urgent email that went out to city officials, Meritage Homes, the HOA, and the CDD. Despite repeated conversations, walk-throughs, and meetings—no one is stepping up to take responsibility for the red clay stains, cracked sidewalks, and damaged streets that are hurting the safety, curb appeal, and value of our homes.

But here’s the good news: we’re being heard—and the more voices we add, the stronger we become.

 
🔍 What’s Going On:
The City says aesthetic issues (like stains) are now the HOA’s responsibility.

The HOA says it's not their responsibility, since the builder (Meritage) caused the damage.

Meritage Homes promised cleanup and repairs—but has not followed through.

Only one repair (a driveway/drain) has been acknowledged by the city, with no timeline for the rest of the community.

49+ homeowners have signed the petition, and more are joining every day!
This is not just about one street or one home. It’s about all of us. If we stay silent, nothing will change. But if we act together, we can and will get results.
