I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have chosen to lend their support to our shared cause. I fully comprehend and share the collective frustration we are currently experiencing as a community due to the challenging circumstances we find ourselves in. It is my earnest aspiration that by disseminating this petition as extensively as possible within our community, we can effectuate genuine and imperative change.
Regrettably, I must convey some disheartening news. Today, I had a rather confrontational encounter with Jose, the property manager. He communicated his expectation that I cease all activities aimed at raising awareness about our situation and immediately halt the dissemination of this petition.
Naturally, I disagreed with his stance. However, I did convey my intention to temporarily suspend my door-to-door efforts until I receive further clarification regarding the potential legal constraints on my actions. Unsurprisingly, Jose was dissatisfied with my response. Later this afternoon, I received an official notice citing a "Lease Violation." It seems that Jose is now contemplating eviction proceedings against me in light of my endeavors to raise awareness. I want to reassure everyone who has signed this petition that there is no threat of retaliation against any of you, as I am the event organizer.
This struggle is far from concluded. I remain committed to continuing my efforts, and we will ensure that our voices resonate. I am currently in the process of seeking legal representation to contest Jose's attempts to stifle our advocacy. I urge all those who are able to engage in grassroots efforts to share this petition through word of mouth as we move forward. Jose has chosen an unwise course of action, as I am resolute in my refusal to yield. Your support is immensely appreciated, and I want to reaffirm that he possesses no authority to silence any of us as we express our grievances. I have undertaken a thorough study of tenants' rights and the relevant TAC codes to affirm this position. His tactics merely constitute an attempt to intimidate me into submission, but such efforts shall prove futile. I am grateful for your time and unwavering support as we collaborate to foster a happy, comfortable, and clean community at Manor House.
