I have great news to share: Thanks to 300,000 SumOfUs members who called on Starbucks to take deforestation off its menu, Starbucks has committed to a stronger palm oil policy. Starbucks is a company that views itself as progressive and responsive to its consumers. This is encouraging as we hope they will be responsive to our concerns about orcas and other captive cetaceans at SeaWorld. There is no benefit for them to maintain a partnership with such a cruel industry. Still, for this to work, we need more signatures.
