Members of Congregation Ahavath Torah:

I have been informed that the Executive Committee and the Board will recommend to the Membership that Rabbi Poupko be offered a new contract. The exact terms of that contract will be negotiated in the coming months and will be voted on by the membership at a later meeting.

It is imperative that you be present at the Synagogue's annual membership meeting Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 8:00 P.M. to support Rabbi Poupko by voting to approve that resolution. Five (5) years ago, 80% of the membership weighed in at the focus groups in favor of installing Rabbi Poupko as our Senior Rabbi. That consensus led to him being hired as our Senior Rabbi. A strong showing of support by the membership at Wednesday's meeting will translate into greater leverage and hopefully a longer term.  I thank you for your continued support and ask you once again to show up to vote on Wednesday.
