Dear Friends and Supporters,
History has been made. With your unwavering support, courage, and solidarity, Nepal has taken a monumental step forward. Today, we celebrate the election of Nepal’s first woman Prime Minister, Sushila Karki—a victory born from the voice of the people and the tireless struggle for justice, democracy, and freedom.
This achievement would not have been possible without each and every one of you who stood with us, signed the petition, raised your voices, and refused to let corruption, violence, and injustice define our nation’s future. Your signatures were not just names—they were acts of courage, faith, and love for Nepal and its people.
As we celebrate this victory, we also bow our heads in deep respect and sorrow for the martyrs who gave their lives in this struggle. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. They are the true heroes of Nepal’s democratic journey, and their blood has written a new chapter in our history.
Let this be just the beginning. The fight against corruption, injustice, and oppression must continue, but today we take strength from this triumph. Together, we have shown the world that change is possible when people unite for a just cause.
On behalf of the people of Nepal, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Let us remain vigilant, hopeful, and committed to building a nation where freedom, justice, and dignity are the birthright of every citizen.
With gratitude and solidarity,
Sulav Lama
