Dear Petitioners,
Tonight was bittersweet. We presented a letter to the board that asked, among other things, for a general members meeting to vote on the board. This was approved, we will communicate the date with you when it is set by the board.
Attached to the letter was a list of petitioners to the board. We anticipate that the next move of the board members in question is to try to reach out to some of you personally to change your opinion between now and this meeting. They believe that the financial state of the ministry will excuse all of the decisions they have made. We disagree. Although our ministry is suffering from serious financial issues, we believe the path forward is a change to the board first, for us to be free with a new Holy Spirit led board to build the ministry up.
The good outcome from tonight was that they agreed to sign a lease, and we have our meeting to vote. The hard outcome for us was the revelation that this board intends to fight this with all their means.
