Petition updatePetition for the Resignation of Board Officers

Update & Invitation - October 2026

Dear Samaritans,

Thank you for signing. We want to provide you with an update on our petition and the next steps in this process. Due to the resistance of listed board members to resign, or the board to take action to remove them, our plan now is to move to a vote of no confidence in the entire board.

At this time, we are not yet ready to formally request a vote of no confidence. There are several important steps we need to take and additional information we need to obtain before moving forward. We remain committed to this process and will continue to proceed thoughtfully and prayerfully.

Tomorrow evening, the petition committee will attend the board meeting to request information from the board that we believe is necessary to determine our next steps. We believe we have the right to request this information and that obtaining it is an important part of moving forward.

Please be in prayer for this meeting. We will begin by inviting the Holy Spirit to be present - to guide all words and actions, and to help us approach this meeting and the board with wisdom, grace, and discernment.

We strongly encourage everyone who is able to attend the meeting to join us virtually via Google meet. Although you will not be allowed to speak or participate verbally, simply attending will enable you to hear the discussion firsthand, gain a better understanding of the information we need, and become more informed about the steps ahead.

How to attend the board meeting:

Visit the GSM website.
Click on “More.”
Select the last of the seven topics listed.
Click on “Board Meetings” to access the registration form.
Complete the form. You will then receive an email containing the meeting link.

If you attend, please keep your camera on and your microphone muted. As a relational ministry, we value seeing one another and being present together, even when meeting virtually.

Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and commitment throughout this process. We are grateful to walk this road together and trust that, with prayer and discernment, we will be guided in the steps ahead.

Along this Samaritan Road,

Vonda
