Subject: Urgent Request to Prioritize Road Widening Upgrade Plan by 2025
I will be writing back in response to above letter to bring attention the critical importance of advancing the Road Widening Upgrade Plan and urging against postponing it until the proposed period of 2031-36.
I will request authority to carefully reconsider the urgency of prioritizing the Road Widening Upgrade Plan to execute by 2025 and request our leader to review the decision which will contribute significantly to the betterment of our area.
our current Kwinana road infrastructure ( 4 lane - narrowed down to 2 lane from Aubin grove to Baldivis in both direction) already poses significant challenges to the efficiency and safety of our community. our commuters facing traffic congestion which has become a persistent issue, leading to increased travel times, heightened air pollution, and a rise in vehicular accidents. Given the immediate impact on the quality of life for residents and the overall well-being of the community, We strongly advocate for prioritizing the Road Widening Upgrade Plan no later than 2025.
By advancing the timeline, we can address the pressing needs of our community sooner and realize the benefits of improved traffic flow, enhanced safety, and a more robust infrastructure. Additionally, the timely execution of the project will contribute to economic growth, assist with kiwnana new port terminal projects , and facilitate smoother transportation for both residents and businesses.
we understand that there may be logistical and budgetary considerations in play, but I believe the long-term benefits and positive impact on our community far outweigh any challenges we may encounter. A proactive approach to infrastructure development is essential for fostering a thriving and sustainable environment.
