📣 Petition Update – January 8

On January 8, Canada’s Drag Race featured The Well as a prize sponsor on their show.

Given the serious and ongoing allegations outlined in this petition—including concerns related to workplace safety, harassment, sexual assault, and the treatment of 2SLGBTQIA+ community members—we believe it is important to respectfully raise these concerns directly with Canada’s Drag Race.

Canada’s Drag Race is a platform that celebrates queer artistry, resilience, and community care. Because of this, many of us feel that aligning with a sponsor facing unresolved allegations of misconduct and negligence is inconsistent with the values the show represents.

Call to Action:

We encourage supporters to politely and respectfully DM Canada’s Drag Race on their official social media platforms to share why you believe The Well should not be promoted as a sponsor at this time.

When reaching out:

Be respectful and non-harassing
Speak from your values and concern for community safety
Reference the existence of ongoing allegations and the lack of public accountability
Ask Canada’s Drag Race to reconsider or review this sponsorship alignment
This is not about attacking individuals or the show—it is about advocating for survivor-centered accountability, transparency, and safer queer spaces.

Raising awareness through respectful dialogue is one way we can push for meaningful change and encourage institutions with influence to act responsibly.
