I am thrilled to announce a major victory! Your unwavering support has propelled us to reach our goal, and I'm excited to share this moment with you.
After extensive discussions with the principal office and school board, we've successfully negotiated a compromise allowing exchange students to participate in the graduation ceremony without the traditional cap and gown. This compromise I think is more than fair!
During the ceremony, Dr. Kemsley will call and acknowledge us, the senior exchange students, recognizing our dedication and achievements as seniors. While we won't be receiving diplomas due to Michigan policies, we'll be honoured for completing our senior year alongside our peers.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for signing my petition and I also wanted to thank OHS for listening to my cause and making a change for good!
