A petition may gain local attention with a couple hundred signatures, but we are aiming for a four to five digit number to really make waves nationally. Let’s urge the Department of Labor to do research and really reconsider how the country defaults on the weekly work schedule. Perhaps the DOL can even promote companies pilot this more frequently to see how it affects work quality and job satisfaction! 

Just think of the amount of self care someone can add to their life by adding one whole day to their weekend! You will essentially unlock hundreds of hours that are free for you to spend however you choose! Imagine the reduction on carbon footprint by compressing the work week into four days and taking a whole day of work commute out of the equation! 98% of a persons carbon footprint comes from their work commute!

Lets promote a change now that can add life to our years rather than just clocking in 5 out of 7 days of the week! The standard schedule has you clocking in over 70% of the week! The new model will have you clocking in 57%!
