Thank you again. Metro is an asset to the public and the greater St Louis region. We protest because we care. We expect better. And we demand quality of service. Understandably, Bi-State and the East-West Board of Directors are seeking ways to mitigate the expense of this project to get the Green Line finally built. I commend the work done so far. But challenge them to think broader and to consider what is more reasonably based in reality. The stations on this line will determine the further-facing decision making of transit expansion in the greater St Louis region. By eliminating stations in areas of known critical-mass, in the name of saving a buck....it depreciates the potential. And sets the line up for a weaker start, rather than a strong boost to the overall system. 

Bring back Washington Ave, Russell Blvd and Arsenal St stations. Tell your transit and city leaders your demand. Write to them. Show up at the planning meetings. Make it known we don't want a budget engineered future. We want what connects us most intentionally and makes the most sense.
