Victory! Paid guards at Palo Alto track crossings.

After three weeks of advocating for train safety at train track crossings, the city council has hired paid guards to keep everyone safe.

Studies show that one of the most effective methods of preventing suicide is eliminating accessible lethal means, which in Palo Alto has been the train tracks.

In combination with mental health initiatives being amended and created at PAUSD, this is an amazing step towards a safer student body, and I believe will help decrease student suicide in our lives.
