The Judge really did go above and beyond outlining and articulating the major points in my case. I am looking for a lawyer to review it and potentially help me file suit. The emotional trauma this has left behind has lingered far longer than expected.

This part of the denial reminds me of the quote by Thomas Jefferson: “When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty”. 

“Allegations of the Mother's substance abuse and mental instability were abundant yet the evidence to support those allegations was wholly/lacking. Rather, the evidence shows that The Department ignored the glaring issue of the mother's mental health until the months leading up to the termination trial. Despite being required to do so, the Department failed to conduct pill counts of the Mother's prescribed psychiatric medications or otherwise follow up with the Mother's psychiatrist regarding her medication management and treatment for approximately two ears. The Mother admitted to falling into a "deep depression" after the children's shelter. yet no evidence was presented that the Department assisted with this. Instead, upon the Mother's positive drug screen in June 2018, the Department became laser-focused on an alleged substance abuse issue separate from the Mother's mental health rather than acknowledging that the two issues may be interrelated“
