I know many of you have been asking for updates. There are currently no public developments in the case. I have been following this matter closely for nearly a year; the proceedings have been effectively stalled since August 2025. By procedure, a status conference should have been scheduled within 180 days of that hearing, but no filings or docket entries indicate such a conference has occurred.

I have also monitored the family’s public communications and have not seen any statements or updates. At this time, the most effective action we can take is to continue signing and sharing this petition in support of Terrence.

Based on the available records, this appears to be a straightforward self-defense matter: Terrence was approached once before he left to return to his own vehicle, and then was approached again at his vehicle and acted to protect himself after attempting to leave the encounter. Given those facts, it is difficult to reconcile the felony-murder charge with a good-faith assessment of the evidence.

I am aware through my research of hostile rhetoric directed at Terrence, including threats and calls for violence, as well as protests. He should have been granted a venue change. He exercised his legal right to defend himself and now remains incarcerated while this case stalls.

The only way to effect change is through collective action. Please sign, share, and urge others to stand with us in demanding a prompt, fair review of the charges against Terrence.
