We, the undersigned, are writing to advocate for a groundbreaking initiative: transitioning the Minnesota Twins to public ownership. With growing concerns over franchise relocations, profit-driven ownership decisions, and the importance of long-term stability, we believe that a fan-owned model is the best path forward for keeping the Twins in Minnesota and ensuring they thrive for generations to come.

Why Public Ownership?

Keeps the Twins in Minnesota forever—preventing future relocations.
Allows fans to own shares and have a direct say in governance.
Ensures profits are reinvested into the team & community, not private owners.
Strengthens Minnesota’s sports culture and economy with a community-driven model.

How This Would Work?

Shares would be made available to Minnesota residents and fans.
A Board of Directors (elected by shareholders) would oversee governance.
The Minnesota Ballpark Authority (MBA) could manage stadium operations.
Revenue from ticket sales, sponsorships, and TV deals would sustain the team.
